Drew graduated from the College of Computing with a PhD in Sept., 1997. While at Georgia tech, he was a member of the GVU center at Georgia Tech's College of Computing. His research was in the area of Virtual Environments, working with Dr. Larry F. Hodges.
Drew completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia , doing research in Virtual Reality and User Interfaces as part of the User Interface Group.After graduating, Drew joined the faculty of the Computer and Information Science department at the University of Pennsylvania as a Lecturer. His research interest include: virtual environments, interactive distributed systems, computer simulation, human-computer interaction, computer graphics, computer systems for collaborative work,information visualization.
