IxDF Albuquerque (New Mexico)
This is going to be a working/relaxed session where people can bring their resumes, portfolios, or both for review and feedback. Get some reps in and get comfortable demonstrating your work!
If you have a resume, please send it to Ben on either Slack or Discord prior to the event. Don't have any invites for those? Message Ben here on meetup for an invite.
If you have a portfolio, let Ben or Liz know you'd like to show it, so we can plan the order for the evening.
Skill level and experience should not be a limiting factor! Whether you're a seasoned UXer on the market, or someone still in a bootcamp, we'll deliver relevant and useful feedback to get you in the best possible spot to succeed!
Ben Nargi digs up a (true) grad school war story, where him and a group of engineers created a piece of assistive technology to help a client ... kayak!
Although this story doesn't deal with software and apps, there will be a ton of lessons learned that absolutely apply to any designer's workflow.
We'll also lightly explore the domain of assistive technology, common hurdles, and how to overcome them.
