IxDF Barcelona Kickoff Meetup: Let's Know Each Other and Get Events Rolling!

Hello IxDF Barcelona Members,

We are thrilled to invite you to our very first meetup of the IxDF Barcelona Local Group this season! Let's come together to kick off an exciting series of events that will inspire, educate, and connect our vibrant community of UX designers.

Agenda:

1. Welcome and Introduction

  • A brief welcome speech by your Group Leaders Esther Fuldauer and Alessandro Senato.

  • Introduction to the Interaction Design Foundation and the purpose of this meetup.

2. Icebreaker Activity

  • Let's get to know each other with a fun "Two Truths and a Lie" game, sharing our unique design experiences.

3. Community Introductions

  • Each attendee will have a moment to introduce themselves, share their current role, design experience, and what they hope to contribute to our community.

4. Group Discussion: Drafting Next Event

  • An open floor to discuss ideas for our future events: potential venues, speakers, and topics.

  • Identify volunteers for roles like venue scouting, speaker outreach, and event planning.

5. Action Items and Next Steps

  • Summarize the key points from our discussion.

  • Outline the next steps and assign initial tasks to our volunteers.

  • Announce any follow-up meetings or communication plans.

6. Networking

Enjoy some informal mingling and get to know your fellow designers better.
