Ben Matthews

Ben Matthews is associate professor in University of Southern Denmark. He research in Design Studies at the SPIRE Center, which is a part of the Mads Clausen Institute at Alsion in Sønderborg. His research areas are design studies, user-centred design, interaction design, qualitative research methodology and analytic philosophy. Additionally, he does some research supervision for the SPIRE Centre, and he is editing the research volume “Organizing Participatory Innovation” along with Max Rolfstam and Brendon Clark.

His academic background consists of a PhD in Design Studies from the University of Queensland, Australia and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Queensland, Australia.
