Learn about User Experience (UX) research firsthand by participating and/or observing the testing process.

As part of our UX in Play series, IxDF Edmonton is organizing a UX Feedback Clinic in partnership with local indie game developers, Interactive Arts Alberta (IAA) and Labo Coffee, supported by Edmonton Screen. 

We’re looking for playtesters to help with some guerilla-style game UX research:

  • On Friday September 26 from 5pm to 7pm, we’ll be at Labo Coffee on Whyte Ave. recruiting two testers every 15 minutes (16 testers max.)

  • Play through a short interactive game prototype and share your feedback with our team of volunteer researchers to help guide important design decisions and shape better games!

  • As a thank-you, testers will get a free drink at Labo ☕🍵♥️

You’re also welcome to simply hang out at the cafe, observe the testing process and chat with other people who share an interest in UX.
