Last year, during our face-to-face IxDF Limassol meetup at Amdocs, we explored where AI helps – and where it doesn’t – across the UX design process. Through lightning talks and a collaborative mapping exercise, we surfaced practical insights grounded in real design work.
This year, we are taking the same idea online – and going straight into action.
What this session is about
This is not a presentation-heavy event. We will jump directly into a shared FigJam board and collaboratively map:
Where AI meaningfully supports UX work
Where AI creates friction, risk, or low value
Which UX activities still benefit most from human judgment
We will look across the full design lifecycle – from research and ideation to testing and handoff – and discuss patterns that emerge.
How it will work
Short context-setting intro
Live collaborative mapping in FigJam
Group discussion and reflection
Shared takeaways you can apply in your own practice
No prior AI expertise is required – just experience or interest in UX design.
Who should attend
UX / Product Designers
UX Researchers
Design Leads & Managers
Anyone curious about practical, realistic uses of AI in UX
What you will gain
A clearer mental model of where AI adds real value in UX
Insight into how other designers are using (or avoiding) AI
A shared artifact you can revisit after the session
Thoughtful discussion, not hype
👉 Come ready to participate. This session is interactive by design.
