P. A. ("Pam") Dargan is a Principal Systems Engineer at SAIC with over 25 years of experience in all aspects of software system engineering. She is the author of Open Systems and Standards for Software Product Development published by Artech House in 2005.

Pam Dargan specializes in developing open architectures and migration strategies based on open standards. She has been a guest speaker and invited author in the U.S. and abroad.  She has designed open systems and developed migration strategies for the FAA, U.S. Coast Guard, and other major federal government agencies, and has received numerous letters of commendation for her work over the years, from senior government officials to agency directors.  She is currently leading a standardization activity for a large federal government agency's modernization program.

Pam Dargan is an international guest speaker and invited author witha B.S. in Mathematics, M.S. in Computer Science. She is listed in Marquis Who's Who in America and Marquis Who's Who in the World.
