After completing her Master\'s in Human Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University, Janette stayed an additional month at school to finish her work as a Research Assistent to Professor Jen Mankoff.

It was her work with Professor Mankoff that led to 3 separate publications on the creation of new tools for people who are Deaf.

Janette now works as a Product Manager at Ontela, a startup in the mobile services industry in Seattle.
