What are Local Groups?
Local Groups will expand your career network—whether you are interested in learning new skills, finding job opportunities or looking for a new employee.
A Local Group is a group of people who, like you, are passionate about design. Local Groups organize meetings to get inspired, have fun and learn from one another.

Meet-Up Details

We'll learn about usability testing - with a twist! René will walk us through the methods of usability testing by conducting a test with a very unique audience: rats. That's right, we're putting our furry friends to the test to see how they interact with a product, and René will take us through the process step by step.

While rats may seem like an unusual choice for a usability test, they share many similarities with human users in terms of behaviour and cognitive processes. By observing how rats behave during a usability test, we can gain valuable insights into how users might behave and how we can better facilitate it.

Don't miss this exciting opportunity to learn about usability testing in a truly unconventional way. Join us for an engaging and informative talk that is sure to leave you with a new perspective on product testing.

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
