How to confirm the status of waitlist?

Whoever in wait-list would receive a notification to their registered mail ID (at nvite) that they have promoted to Guest-list if they get a chance.
Obviously, If you didn't received a confirmation mail in 2 days prior to the event date. which means you aren't lucky this time.

Hi Arun,

The invite link says " Sold out". I believe if i'm a registered user of IxDF, i can attend without registering in Eventbrite. Am i right?

Not exactly, There are 1900+ members in IxDFBLR community. How should we accommodate the number into a small scale event? Hence there is a registration process through nvite and only the people got into guest-list are welcome to the event. (used to attach the link to every events description here)
