Hi IxDF Johannesburg, let's meet up and network over coffee! Share UX design insights and resources, discuss UX problems you are facing now, or just chat about anything else. It's going to be an informal, cozy meet-up with fellow designers!

There are many processes out there, so many ways of thinking, hopefully, this group will help us break through the bottlenecks of product design (and design in general) ...in November our group is so lucky to have more awesome speakers... "2 Freethinking ladies & 1 Exploring Entrepreneur" to share their thinking & processes with us.

DESIGN THINKING TOPIC: WHICH APPROACH?
Speakers : Lauren Strydom & Inez Patel

Bio:

Lauren is an Experience Design Lead at Freethinking Business Consultants and has spent the bulk of her career to date in the financial industry. She is deeply passionate about helping craft delightful experiences and loves the challenges that come with integrating design into corporate environments. She has a B.Com Honours in Informatics from the University of Johannesburg and is also a Certified Usability Analyst.

Bio:

Inez is a User Experience Designer at Freethinking Business Consultants. She has a background in research, lecturing and graphic design. This diverse experience has given her an edge as she has been exposed to different disciplines of design and media. In developing her skills, she was led into User Experience and enjoys learning about and sharing this passion.

PRODUCT DESIGN TOPIC: "TAPSNAPP - DESIGN TO IMPLEMENTATION"

Guest speaker : Jaiprakash Sewram (Co-Founder/CTO and Head of Product at Tapsnapp

Jaiprakash will be taking us through his step-by-step thought process for guiding the implementation of lean techniques. This talk will showcase how to iteratively design & adapt as the "real" needs of the customer is discovered.
