Meet-Up Details

UX designers and product owners face many challenges when it comes to designing great User Experience in a product. Where do you start? What is the right way to do UX? I don’t have much time to do UX I’m in a hurry to release the product.

To complicate things more, popular processes that we see today are very generic and you need to do a lot of mapping and bridging to allow for UX in the process.

What we have done is, we categorized all projects into three main categories
1. Start a product from scratch
2. Revamp or improve UX in an existing product.
3. Adding a new module to an existing product.

We extracted the good parts which has worked for us in popular processes like, Lean UX, Design thinking, The Sprint and traditional user centered design processes and mapped them to the different project types. And with our 18 years of experience in the business, we came up with the Human Experience model of design.

The key fact is; the maximum time it takes to cover a full cycle of this process takes only 4 of 6 hour workshops. And if your product scope is relatively small you could even do it in one day.

During this workshop Team HEX will explain to you how to get out of traps that many people fall into when they design UX and to guild you through every step of the process using a sample project. You will be taught the theory first and then asked to experience it hands-on.

Key points that you will learn are,

1. How to find the right UX process to your project?
2. Connectivity between UX activities and how to use them in practice.
3. Design key User Journeys
4. How to innovate fast
5. Quick Prototyping and User Testing
6. When to start developing and what to develop first

Yes… you will design a product to solve a problem yourself using the mentioned UX process in this one of a kind full day UX workshop.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
