Meet-Up Details

Matt Smith of Unique Forms leads a drawing challenge today: www.boccionirecreated.com is an ongoing project to recreate Umberto Boccioni’s lost sculptures. This is a unique opportunity to sketch from one of the recreated works not seen in 100 years. The work is CNC milled from a digital sculpting of Spiral Expansion of Muscles in Movement 1913. This was the work that preceded Unique Forms of Continuity in Space 1913. Sketching from these sculptures is rewarding and less intimidating than working from a life model for some.
