The Disappearing Handoff: Live-Coding a Unified Design-to-Dev Workflow

​We're excited to announce our first meet-up of 2026.

​This time, we meet at Betfair Romania Office to learn how design turn into working code in real time. Live and personal! No hidden wires, no trick mirrors. Just live coding, practical tools, and a few hilarious mishaps along the way.

​Guaranteed to make designers and developers hold hands while they stare longingly into the distance rethinking what "handoff" even means.

​What you'll experience

​Radu Chelariu, Design System Manager at METRO.digital, will demonstrate how to change the traditional designer-developer handoff by building a unified workflow. During this session, you'll see:

  • ​How design decisions translate directly into production-ready code;

  • ​Tools and frameworks that help designers and developers speak the same language (design tokens, component libraries, modern dev modes);

  • ​Real debugging moments and practical problem-solving;

  • ​Q&A where Radu tackles your specific handoff challenges;

​This isn't a lecture, it's a live show with takeaways you can use Monday morning.
