Meetup Details

Come join us as we expand what it means to "interact" with art and design!

This in-person event will feature speakers Michael Townsend and Leah Smith of the studio Tape Art. They specialize in designs which defy traditional ideas of what a "target audience" is and push the limits of how a user may engage with art and design.

You may know Michael as the brains behind the Hidden Apartment in the Providence Place Mall, which is now documented in a feature-length theatrical film!

For anyone attending the speaker series tonight, there are a few options for parking:
- miscellaneous street parking (if you find it)
- East Providence City Hall
- Potter St. Public Parking
- Burgess Ave. Free Public Parking
