Meetup Details

Hi IxDF Denver, our June UX & Tech meetup will be hosted at Improper City RiNo, on Sat June 21, from 11am - 1pm.

This indoor/outdoor space has seasonal cocktails, taps, and food trucks. All welcome. Plenty of street parking and we’ll pick a cooler / indoor area due to the heat.

We are sitting inside near the doors to the patio on the left!

Food Trucks:
1. Turkish Chef on Wheels (11am)
2. Pupusas (1pm): Salvadorian cuisine with Caribbean flavors + Mexican food (pupusas, sweet fried plantains, yucca fries, tacos, quesadillas, asada fries, churros..)


Meetup Agenda:
We’ll kick off planning for our volunteer group UX project this year that can be used for your portfolio to pivot into UX or grow your existing career. We’ll also begin planning for our in-person future IxDF Denver UX Conference, co-hosted/sponsored by our new partner Miro!

Topics: We’ll dive into UX for AI, leveraging AI tools, thought leadership, and accelerating your UX career.

Portfolio UX Project Opportunity + Sr UX Panel of UX Leads/Mentors:
We’ll kickoff planning for an IxDF Group hackathon project, pro-bono non profit project, or a volunteer UX project for a company this year.

This will be a portfolio opportunity to apply your IxDF learnings to:

Improper City has confirmed 11am-1pm (open seating).
Anyone is welcome to arrive early, if they would like to help us set up. We can coordinate in the slack channel if anyone would like to arrive earlier than 11am.
