Meetup Details

Hi Ottawa Designers! 🎉 I’m thrilled to invite you to another edition of our coffee meetup where we can connect, discuss expectations for the community, share career insights, or just chat about life and design! It’s going to be a cozy, laid-back hangout with fellow design enthusiasts. Can’t wait to see you there! ☕✨

We hosted one in January where we had a couple people in attendance and it was fun! We networked, had interesting conversations and May edition promises to be even better!

Seats are very limited! Please get your free ticket soon to reserve your spot. Also share this information with other community members so they don’t miss out!

I’m really excited about what we’ve got planned, and I can’t wait to catch up with everyone. Let’s make this fun together!

Hello all! There was an email sent out about our upcoming meeting and I wanted to notify us of an error in the meeting time. The actual meeting time is 1:30PM and NOT 1:30AM. I have asked that this be corrected.

Here’s what to expect tomorrow:

  • We want Learn more about YOU, your work, and how you’re impacting the world with design.

  • We’re growing the community and we’re open to ideas on How to grow the community 📈, If you have built communities in the past we want to hear from you!

  • We’ll have an open discussion on tips on How to Interview 🎤(Recruiter call, Hiring Manager’s interview) - A good number indicated they’re searching for jobs in our previous meetup.

  • A big reveal! I’ll be introducing our New co-lead 💪🏾 to help steer the community alongside me! More hands = more events, more fun, and more growth for all of us.

The venue is Grounded Scratch Kitchen, 1545 Carling Avenue Ottawa at at 1:30PM EST! We will paste our logo and branded way-finding signs to help you find your way around the building)
