What does design have in common with storytelling? In simple terms, design, like storytelling, brings ideas to life. Through thoughtful visual design, you can craft narratives that your help your audience connect with you better and remember you for longer.

In today’s digital landscape, users have lots of information to parse, and lots of products to choose from. To stand apart from the noise, you need to have a unique identity through a story that sets you apart. As a designer, it’s important to know how to elicit the right emotions—both in your users, and in yourself, in your own design process.

In this Master Class webinar by Ellen Lupton, you’ll understand how to combine timeless design principles, storytelling techniques and insights from behavioral science and cognition to build your skills in visual storytelling.

  • How to use visual design principles to convey action and change
  • How to use narrative arcs to design more satisfying products and experiences
  • How to recognize the rule of threes and tap into its energy
  • How to connect the hero's journey to user experiences

Through this webinar, you’ll learn to empathize better with your users to understand how they perceive the stories told through your designs. With Ellen’s keen, expert insights, you’ll hone your design skills for the better. Filled with practical takeaways, this webinar will help you elevate your design skills immediately.
