Hey everyone,

Often, I get questions on user experience topics—what differences in designer titles mean; what designers do in different orgs; what are important UX trends; how to conduct user research etc.

I'm hosting an 'Ask me Anything!' where you can submit questions in advance and ask them on the fly in an 'anything goes' Q&A style webinar.

Some info about me:
I've spent my entire career in human-computer interaction work—creating human-centered experiences for over 8 years. The majority of my time has been spent in interaction design, working at various agencies creating websites and mobile applications for enterprise clients. For the past 2+ years, I've been in-house at Verizon, helping shape their user research practice and leading insights work for our mobile phone plans, 5G technology, our mobile app and our Loyalty program. Most recently, I've built an in-house rapid research program to support the rest of our team with quick usability evaluations.

Hi Devin ,

Love the "ask anything"theme ,

Taking into account what is happening on the planet i notice a major push back on the east studying in the west and vice versa . I am on the Shanghai Group as well ito research being done regarding UX dev globally

This ties in well with your meetup request as a lot of questions being asked there can be answered with great integrity by Groups in the west and since NY is a leading global group the question here is if a few NY members can perhaps join up in Shanghai .

Hey Dereck, yeah, I think this could be great opportunity for NYC members to learn from other groups around the world as well. If you wanted to send any folks from Shanghai to this webinar, that could be really great!

Great idea , i'll post the webinar on the Shanghai Group and ask them to join your Group , you can also send your members that way . It's fabulous that we can use the IDF platform to link these groups.

Ito interesting content we're doing some great research to marry Health & UX (Google Medical Futurist to get a gist of possibilities) , we're also pursuing collab between Environmental issues , Agriculture matters and how UX can be used to expand , enrich and improve thinking in these fields.
