Hi all! This is the new event page for the same portfolio coworking meetup originally scheduled for September 9, 1-4 pm. Please use this discussion thread to discuss UX Portfolio Coworking Meetup held on Sep 14, 2023. Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.

I made this event because I myself need some dedicated time and social motivation to work on my portfolio. And thought what better way to create some accountability than having a meetup where we can make this less-than-fun task (in my opinion) more fun! :)

Hello everyone! Just two days away from our portfolio coworking meetup :) For those of you who are attending, when you arrive at Guild Row there will be a tablet at the front where you can check-in. Check in as a guest, and then you can look up my name and select that you’re a guest of mine. Looking forward to seeing y’all there!

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
