Sure! I don't think having any skill in graphic design is a basic requirement

Hello Alisa, there is no requirement for graphics design as a prerequisite for UX design. For some people, having an "eye" for how things are aligned visually may be helpful. But there are many excellent UX designers who have learned about visuals and where to place things as they went along in their career.

Hi Mary, I think I understand your challenges. Two good courses to start with will be User Experience: The Beginner’s Guide and Become a UX Designer from Scratch (the new revised course).

Hi Mary, in addition you can also set up a dummy site or a portfolio where you can practice different layouts and styles and things that you see in the courses and other articles. Sometimes it is easier to do this first before working on someone's live project
