Meet-Up Conversation

Hi all! Please use this discussion thread to discuss UX Jobs Webinar: A Day in the Life held on Sep 20, 2019. Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.

Thanks David and to all those who present, share or organize these activities.

Hello fellow designers! see you all soon. Z

Tomorrow is the big day! Make sure to set aside some time and grab lunch early. We'll be starting promptly at 12pm EST. See you all there!

Sounds great! Thank you for the reminder, Devin.

Hi, I'm having problems with the link, I keep getting an error page. I was wondering if I'm being provided the correct link?

Hey everyone happy Friday! Interesting to hear about everyone else's experience with...experience design :)

Webinar is LIVE! Join now at the following link: https://www.freeconferencecall.com/wall/idf-nyc/ho...

Fantastic discussion! Thank you Devin and Josh for hosting and putting this together. A lot of great insight into day to day operations of a UX designer. It gave a more nuanced view of exactly what UX design is like for different people in the space. Lot to think about!

Great Webinar! Thanks for putting it together everyone.

Hi, All! I just joined the group. Is there a recording of the webinar by chance? If so, can you please email me? patterson.kanesha@gmail.com

I was hoping so too @Kanesha. In retrospect, none of the information says "asynchronous" or "recording available later" so I guess we are out of luck for this one. Oh well. I'll write Santa for it and maybe next year! :)

Greetings, is there a recording of this?

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
