Hi IxDF Chicago, let’s meet online and discuss UX! In our video call, let’s get to know each other and share UX problems we’re facing and discuss how we can solve them. Save the date, grab your laptop (or phone!), and let’s see each other online!

I am part of Humanitarian Designers community and have done several humanitarian hackathons. I wanted to share some insights and resources as well as create a group at IDF Chicago to focus on using our UX expertise to tackle some of the most pressing humanitarian challenges our world is facing today.

I also want to come up with a name and a graphic for the meetup, so it will be one of the topics to discuss in the first meeting. If you are interested in brainstorming solutions to help those stuck in some of these issues across the globe, come and join me in discussing how!

Issues I feel strongly about and will discuss:

  • Human Trafficking

  • Mental Health Stigma

  • Women’s Rights

As you can see in the Figma, we will each have a spot to list some that you feel strongly about.
