Meet-Up Details

Hi IxDF Austin,

Wow. 140 IDFers in Austin!

We had a wonderful meet up at Radio Coffee and Beer this past Saturday. It was great to meet everyone and hear about your stories and journeys.

I hope going forward to hear more of your stories and happenings, and how we can help each other grow.

Please pencil in this date for another meet-up:

October 12, Saturday, 4pm.

If you have a favorite coffee shop South Austin, let me know! I am always up to trying new places (as well as eating different food too).

It's going to be an informal, cozy meet-up with fellow UXers!

Stay tune for location, as we get closer to the date.

Not going to make it today. Will catch the next one.

Hey all,

Thanks to those who came out to IDF meet-up. We had a great discussion about everything UX--I learned something new and I hope Yiling, Cameron and Yujin did too.

As I have learned so far, UX is a diverse field, and we can all benefit from learning from each other. Each one of us is reservoir of information. Who knows, we might need to ask each other questions when we embarking on fieldwork/user research.

I will set up the next meet up for Nov. 9. Please pencil in this date. If you have suggestion for place to meet, let me know. I'd be interested in checking out a new coffee shop!

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
