I think this is a great idea! There are so many pivoters and their backgrounds can really contribute to UX - and UX can contribute to their former industries. :)

Hi, Folks! I just joined IDF today and I’m a career pivoter! I’d love to see what you came up with in this discussion, or talk to you about your tips! I’m coming from an academic humanities background. I started a UX Research portfolio and plan to start focusing on UX Writing/Content Strategy in the coming month or so.
