Meetup Details

Meetup Conversation

Hi all! Please use this conversation thread to discuss Picnic UX Meetup held on March 22, 2025. Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.

Guys the date is March 22nd.

Im fine with the date :)

what’s the plan? are we buying something, need to bring something, going somewhere? i get that it’s a picnic but just to be prepared!

Hi Frida, bring your own food and drinks please. As we do not know how many people we will be, it is hard to organize sharing food. We will be having the picnic inside Chapultepec.

I can bring plates, napkins and disposable utensils :)
Btw, where in Chapultepec will the meeting be?

Hi Albano, the meeting point is at Estela de Luz, from there we will walk all together inside. But it will be in Primera Sección.

Hello UXrs!! This Saturday we will be having our picnic! Make sure you bring your own food and drinks. Also bring anything that will make you feel comfortable to sit around the grass. As you know the weather has been hot in the city so wear sunscreen or a hat and bring water. This time I will like to propose to talk around a topic that Albano asked in some post around here: “What would you have liked to know when you were first starting out in UX? Or what would you like to know now that you're just starting out in UX?” I will leave here my number 5526 68 8112. Also note that when I arrive to Estela de Luz, I will post a pic here to let you know I am there. Be ready and see you on Saturday!

Buenos días! Ya estoy en la estela de Luz. Algunos vienen un poco retrasados, así que no hay tema aquí esperamos.

It was great to see you all and talk about UX! We were happy to meet new people as well this time: Jessika, Patricio, Conner, Rodrigo and Alfonso. See you soon!

Meetup attendees

IxDF Members show their interest to attend a meetup by clicking the “Attend this meetup” button.

IxDF Members might also be bringing their non-member friends to the meetup (and you're welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meetups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
