I’m thinking this is an agenda free event, I mean a meeting agenda, bring an intent for sure. I’ll bring discussion topics to make our conversation as awkward as possible. No sense in this thing going smoothly, who wants that, AMIRITE?!

Spark Social isn’t HUGE but it is substantial. I’ll wear a brown hat with ‘Guinness’ on it and a wooden bow tie so you can find me. Not exactly a beacon of light but I’m not equipped with clothes that stand out. Hopefully it won’t be Guinness hat and wooden bow-tie day at Spark Social.

What else do you want to know?

What’s good Leke? Unfortunately this is an in-person only event but it’s good to know you’re down for a virtual visit.

Yeah. Virtual is an option. It’s the hybrid that I’m not sure how to make work. I’m not the most dependable when it comes to organizing social events so feel free to make your own. I hereby grant you the permission to do so. *skill acquired music plays*

Hi Daniel, I was curious what class you’re taking that inspired you to organize a meetup? Thanks for taking the initiative!

Every class begins with a prompt to host a meetup. This particular class is Perception and Memory in HCI and UX.

I'm here in the back annex (not the mini golf area) in the picnic table corral. Still with the hat and bow-tie. It's not too bad out here. Can wait to see you.

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
