Meet-Up Details

Hello New York area IDFers! As you probably know, we are pretty fortunate to have a steady stream of design related talks, seminars and conferences around the city. If you are looking to expand your understanding of a topic or just need a mental break from the agency grind, come out! After each talk we usually gather to discuss what was presented and any thing else design related.

This coming Monday, March 30 at 6:30pm, Brian Cugelman, PhD, the Director and Senior Consultant of AlterSpark, will be speaking on his communication-based approach to persuasive design for interactive technologies.

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
