Looking to meeting everyone and networking. The topic is a good one, too! There are some great Seattle Meetups if you're looking for groups to get involved with in the area. The Ladies that UX group is really welcoming and full of information.

Thank you for the tip about Ladies that UX! I'm just finishing up the HCDE Certificate program at UW and have been wondering which meet ups to join with out getting overwhelmed. I've heard New Tech Seattle and http://pssigchi.org are also good.

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
