Meet-Up Details

Hi IxDF Minneapolis, let's meet online and discuss our UX IxDF coursework and experiences! I am just curious to meet other people in Mpls also taking some of these course and working in the industry. Is anyone available in Mid-September for a Zoom?

Potential Topics:

IxDF courses (what have or are you taking, what do you think of it?)

UX careers in MPLS (lots of jobs available?; how goes your search?)

UX Experience (new to you? or do you have experience to share and learn from?)

Freelance VS inhouse/ or agency ? (thoughts on advantages or disadvantages in both)

OTHER? I plan for this to be a meet-up online HH sort of thing... so I hope you can make it. We can keep this informal, or if you want I can formalize it a bit more? Just message me ideas of topic you would like to add. Thanks looking forward to meeting a few of you virtually next month. -Grant

I am working with Rothanak to get this meeting link. We plan to distribute it via the IxDF MPLS Slack Channel. Potentially is will be a Zoom, Google, or Teams video meet up. I'll try to update this thread with more details prior to the meet up. Thanks.

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
