Meet-Up Discussion

Hi all! Please use this discussion thread to discuss IxDF Halifax Online Hangout held on May 1, 2020. Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.

Hi there! I’ve been taking courses online through Interaction Design Foundation. Looking forward to meeting up online. Is the time 9-10am or 9-10pm

Hi Gillian, we can discus the time which is convenient for everyone. I prefer 9am - 10am. Please share your thoughts:)

hi guys, trust you are all doing great in this trying time.

looking forward to meeting you guys tomorrow.

cheers.

Hi Folks... I am just wondering if we are meeting via Zoom, Skype or other means. Perhaps we are just texting back and forth today.

Hi, same question I was going to ask. Please can someone let us know which method?

Hi Abdulganiyu, I think we might be the only two here. Let's wait a few moments and see if anyone else joins. I'll email Lior and see if he is available.

okay thank you.

I just emailed Lior to see if he was available. Please feel free to add me on Facebook. I am the only "Gillian King" in PEI. We can chat by messenger or Zoom.

I am a web designer but I've been getting into the user experience design field lately. Clients want assurances that the content and design fits with their customers needs so user testing is usually incorporated now.

The Maritime provinces are so interconnected, it would be a shame to not keep in touch.

Sound great Gillian King, I will create a meeting in zoom and share the link right away with you and post it here as well should in case anyone feel like joining us.

Hi guys! Unfortunately I wasn't able to join you last week.

Looking forward ofr the next meet up!

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
