Meet-Up Details

Hi All, in talking with a few members of the D.C. and Nova communities the idea surfaced of having an accountability group.

At it's simplest and accountability group is a series of individuals that you meet with regularly (weekly) and voice:

- What you accomplished last week

- What you will accomplish next week

It is a group of friendly faces that show up each week to support you in holding yourself accountable to your goals.

I'm holding a meeting on Tuesday evening (Sept 1) from 6:30-7 to capture interest. If you can't make it but you are interested in the group please reach out via Slack or email (mattburgess.idf@gmail.com) and let me know.

Hi there - I signed up for tomorrow's meetup. The email says it's at 6:30pm tomorrow, but the ical invite says 6:30am.

Yes. Apologies. I'll be here at 6:30 PM at the Zoom but will also schedule a second meeting next Tuesday at the same time.

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
