Hi IxDF Canberra.

We all know UX is great for websites and other digital spaces. But I’m also keen to connect with others who want to explore how Interaction Design can make an impact in the wider world of public-purpose programs & projects - whether government, policy & peak bodies and social initiatives.

So… to kick-off a sub-group chat, let’s meet online - MS Teams to start. If anyone in the existing IxDF Canberra crew have an alternative idea please let me know.

For now, perhaps in our video chat, we could grab a coffee, intro ourselves and map some ways that interaction design applies beyond digital for Canberra organisations.

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
