Considering the amount of work, design thinkers mindset/ process involved in solving a problem; how do we envision the future of just UI design within the holistic approach of UX?

Say like if initially, If a project or client just demands (considers) UI design support & later gets more inclined towards UX (as we start exploring, get deeper insights through progressive enhancement) demanding more UI updates & changes. In such case, how do we tackle the myths people bear about UI & UX?

Sorry, your question is not quite clear. As far as I understand, you want to know how to balance client’s expectation, while the project is advancing, and both of you are learning more about importance of UX. If yes, then I don’t think UI design in its own entirety should be seen as a child, who require nourishment of UX to be mature and wiser.
