Meet-Up Conversation

Hi all! Please use this discussion thread to discuss Figma 101 Lunch'n Learn held on Jun 25, 2020. Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.

Thank you for organizing this virtual meetup around a growing community and powerful prototyping tool—Figma. Looking forward to meeting you all and learning some new things.

Looking forward to the meet-up!

Thank you for offering this! I've been meaning to get started looking at Figma but the thought has been a little overwhelming with what feels like so much to learn. A lunch and learn about this is a great idea, I love learning from people who actually use the tools!

The event sounds interesting. Where is the link to the Meet-Up? Is it on Zoom?

Just added the link this morning! You can join from there.

Could someone please share how I can access this meetup on Thursday? I want to make sure I'm in the right place so I don't miss it!

Hey Tamika! I believe the Zoom link for the meet-up will be added to the invite!

Susie is right, I've just added the link this morning!

Will there be a recording of the presentation in case we can't make it to scheduled time?

We will try and record it and put it in the Slack channel!

Thanks Devin! Would you mind adding me to the slack channel somyers22@gmail.com?

where is the zoom link?

can you add me to the slack channel please too?

I missed the event. Can the recording be shared? Could you please add me to the slack channel?

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
