What are Local Groups?
Local Groups will expand your career network—whether you are interested in learning new skills, finding job opportunities or looking for a new employee.
A Local Group is a group of people who, like you, are passionate about design. Local Groups organize meetings to get inspired, have fun and learn from one another.

Meet-Up Details

Radiolab recently released an episode discussing Facebook's solution to addressing what is "allowed" as content considering global and cross-cultural implications. This came in the form of an independent panel of 20 jurors.

IDF D.C. is hosting an hour of conversation to share thoughts and hear ideas about how this might impact our individual, work, and global communities.

Meet-Up Discussion

Hi all! Please use this discussion thread to discuss Facebook's Supreme Court - Discussion held on Mar 3, 2021. Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.

Hi everyone! I'm new in UX and hope to learn and improve my knowledge. I'm from Paraguay but now I'm living in Washington DC. If there's some activity about UX where can I participate, please let me know! :)

Hi Anna, I am from Paraguay too and new to D.C. I am looking to discuss UX, work on projects and develop my portfolio (and help others do the same). Let me know if you are interested in forming a group to meet via zoom or another platform. Thanks!

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
