Meet-Up Discussion

Hi all! Please use this discussion thread to discuss Design Coffee Time (round 2) held on Jul 12, 2019. Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.

Hi Everyone,

We are on for this Friday afternoon. Please bring with you any projects or UX Design problems you would like to discuss in-depth. I will post an article link or two here by tonight, so we will discuss that as well. More to come...

Hello Design Coffee Time people!

Was I the only person who went to the Spaniard yesterday and didn't see the Local Leaders group meetup?

Open for discussion now and at our meet-up tomorrow: evaluate the wisdom that this article is suggesting--to take risks and break rules--against the UX notion of "probability over possibility".

UX Talks (@luca_de_angelis) tweeted "By saying that UX is about understanding probability over possibility, we mean that the UX design process should be focused more on what the users are more likely to do with the intended software, rather that focusing on any and all the functionalities that one can come up with.

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
