Hi Leke, of course. Thank you, I’m well. I am not sure how we could accommodate a virtual gathering as this will be my first time hosting. Anybody else got an idea?

Hi everyone! My name is Jee, and I am new to UX/UI. I’m currently working as an art teacher, and my goal is to build an app for artists and other creatives.

I picked the Bean as our meet-up spot because they have a really good chai. I live in Inwood, so I sometimes travel an hour downtown just to get the chai. They have a great selection of other beverages as well, so you won’t be disappointed!

I learned so much within just a week through here, so I wanted to see how everyone is doing in their UX journey.

I love the receptiveness of your response. Thank you. I’m happy to join in via your mobile phone camera. At the least an audio (just listening in and contributing) would suffice. Whatever is decided is fine.

Sure, no problem! It might be best to use Google Meet since Zoom logs people out after 30 min.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
