Hey all!

It's February (already) and that means that the first kick-off meet up for the UX Utrecht powered by Interaction Design Foundation (IDF) is coming up!

IDF Utrecht is a growing group of people with mixed backgrounds who are interested in Interaction Design, User Experience, Customer Experience and Creative Digital Design. The group is still rather new so feel free to take initiative and spread the word. The benefits of such a community? You will expand your professional network in Utrecht (and The Netherlands), learn a lot, and have fun!

There will be also enough future meet-ups and work sessions to gain inspiration, insight and contacts. There is a local meet up group on Meetup.com, a LinkedIn group and an internal group within IDF itself in order to share knowledge and keep in touch expansively. Let’s start our network and have fun together.

Please join us on LinkedIn as well https://www.linkedin.com/groups/13578348. It launched yesterday so don't be surprised if there are not 10000000 members just yet ;-)

Looking forward to meeting you personally,

Zita

P.S.: for the future meet-ups and work sessions we are recruiting speakers and people who have something to share. Drop a mail if you have an idea: zita@interaction-design.org.

Zita, thank you for organising yesterday's meeting. It was inspiring and all the stories and our discussions were interesting. I'm still thinking about things people said. Great evening!

Hi Zita,
Good initiative! I am not sure yet if I am in the Netherlands, but otherwise I am sure! Do you already have an idea about the agenda of the meetup?

Hey David,

Would be great to have you there. I am inviting some members outside of IDF as well and looking at topics such as:

*What are the biggest challenges when starting out your UX career?

*How does an 'Agile' work environment come together with UX processes in practise?

*How can we spread the word of UX in The Netherlands & make courses / material more accessible and known?

Any other topics you wish to share? This meetup will also be a great place to see who would be up for sharing a case or two at the next one.

Cheers, Zita

Hey guys,

In a couple of hours our meet up will start! It’s an informal, cosy meet up to get to know each other (and some non IDF members) and also to discuss any questions you have in mind as inspiration for the upcoming meet-ups/workshops.

See you later,

Zita

good idea, shame I can't make it.

Looking forward to this evening everyone, inspiring each other and hatching plans together.
