Coffee + UX meet up---date change to 11/16

Hi all!

Our next meetup is Saturday, November 16, 2019.

I was trying to find a coffee shop that would be in the middle. Google showed me The Carpenter Hotel. It seems interesting (I don't work for the Carpenter Hotel). maybe a place for a staycation with the holiday approaching?

The Carpenter Hotel
400 Josephine St, Austin, TX 78704

Time: 4-6pm, November 16

Please feel free to bring your questions for discussion or just show up to network.

See you in a few weeks!

Hello everyone! How did the meetup go? I hope that you guys had a great time at the event.

See y'all tomorrow afternoon!

Thank you for the update on the next meetup, Adrienne. Good luck with the design week! Which day(s) will you attending?

I signed up for a few. I went to one on monday ab. inclusion design (they call it neutral design...that is a new term to me.) I visited a design studio, Accomplice. They do quite nice work--an interdisciplary design shop but focus is on interaction design. I signed up for a few more but I am not sure I will be able to make them.

Hey all,

I wanted to ask y'all about moving the meeting to either Sunday, 11/10 or the following Saturday, 11/16. Same time and place, just different date.

Can you let me know your preference?

Looking forward to meeting you...and telling you about Austin Design week (which I signed up for two sessions this coming week)...and I participated in a design a thon! will see how it goes this coming week as well!

I would love to attend one of the meetups. Could we please try to have one closer to the Domain area? That would be a little easier for those up north of Austin. I live in Round Rock and don't really want to drive all the way South or downtown.

Either way, it's far for me (30+ minutes). I live in Lakeway. :) Unfortunately, the city is so large now, it's hard to accommodate everyone.

I get that there will never be a perfect spot to accommodate everyone, but more options a little further North would be nice.

I hear ya! Arboretum would be great and fairly central. BTW, your portfolio is fantastic! Are you full-time free-lance?

Yes, Arboretum would be a great option. Thanks for the kind words about my portfolio. I was working full-time freelance for a few months but will be going back to part-time next month.
