Austin UX Meet-Up

Hi all! Please use this discussion thread to discuss Austin UX Meet-Up held on Apr 10, 2018. Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.

It was great to meet up last night, thanks to all that showed up! It is helpful to learn why different people are interested in IxDF and the courses they are taking. It if also fun to learn about our diverse life journeys and what attracts us to UX. So much knowledge and passion to help drive the field and our understanding forward!

Thank you, Nelson, for setting up our Slack channel. That will be a fun and easy way to track ideas, plan, and organize.

Look forward to our next meeting!

Thank you Holly for taking the initiative to organize the meet-up yesterday.

Those that attended had a great time meeting one another. We hope to do it again next month.

We figured it would help to create a slack channel to foster more communication between us IxDFers in Austin. Here's the link. https://join.slack.com/t/idf-austin/shared_invite/...

sorry I left for some other reason. You all have fun.

where are you all

I’m at spider house. Where is this group

Holly, is there a sign for IxDF. I couldn’t find the group here.

Hello!

Yes, there is a sign at the table on the patio outside. Opposite the entrance against the back patio wall

I’m looking for you, Ravindra

Hello All,

I look forward to seeing those of you that can join tonight at Spiderhouse. I'll try to find a good group of tables outside on the patio so that we can enjoy this beautiful weather while we've got it!

Then, we can look forward to another meet-up once Jatin is back as well!

See you tonight!

Holly

Hi all!

Jatin was planning to organize a meet-up once he's back in Austin - meet-up to take place on April 26. Should we combine this one with that one to try to maximize participation?

I'm open to doing both - but know everyone is busy. Thoughts?

Cheers,

Holly

This is great! Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hi Holly! Thanks for setting this up, looking forward to it.
