Thom Whalen completed his doctorate in experimental psychology at Dalhousie University in 1979. Since then, he has been conducting research in human-computer interactions at the Communications Research Centre (CRC), a research institute of the Government of Canada. Dr. Whalen is an adjunct professor in the Psychology Department of Carleton University and in the Department of Management Science and Finance at St. Mary’s University
