Rikke Friis Dam

Rikke Friis Dam is Co-Founder of the Interaction Design Foundation. She holds a Master's Degree in Philosophy and Educational Philosophy from the University of Aarhus. Rikke also holds a journalistic degree in making research accessible from The Danish School of Media and Journalism, and a bachelor degree in Teaching from VIA University College. Previously, Rikke has been Founder and Director of Diamedier, a Danish consultancy company. The company helped businesses build and implement social media strategies and tools. Rikke has also worked as a filmmaker, photographer and divemaster. As a filmmaker, she has made documentaries about the quality of life in far-away places like Mongolia. As a photographer, she has made several exhibitions on a variety of subjects. As a divemaster, she has worked at dive sites around the world, e.g. in Honduras, Malaysia, and Egypt.
