Thomas Gläser finished his studies as a communication designer at HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd with a focus on interaction design. »The Chemieraum« (www.chemieraum.com) was his Bachelor project which he did together with Jens Franke and the haptICS research team from his university of applied science. This multimedia exhibition should help kids and teens to explore the world of chemistry with a multimedia table controlled by a new device with haptic feedback. This project received many design prices like the red dot, Bayr. Staatspreis and Europrix Multimedia Award. While Thomas was studying he was a working student at the interface design concept unit at BMW. Early in 2009 he founded the interaction design agency called envis precisely (www.envis-precisely.com) in Munich. They create interactive experiences for museums, education and brand communication.
