First generation American. Parents from the Province of Rome, Italy. Served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. B.A. in Human Factors Engineering (Engineering Psychology) from The Ohio State University. Employed during the Apollo Program by Bendix Aerospace in Ann Arbor, MI. Bendix designed the ALSEP equipment taken to the Moon. Angelo worked closely with the Apollo Astronauts to work out the logistics of operating the ALSEP equipment while encased in the cumbersome spacesuits they wore during the mission. Appeared on NBC as the ALSEP spokesperson on Apollo 11 and 12.
