Abdelaziz Khiat is a doctor candidate at the Robotics laboratory of NAIST. His current work involves the development and the study of novel interactive techniques that can be used with robots. He authored several publications in the fields of attentive interfaces, human-robot interaction, brain-computer interfaces and computer vision.

He holds a Master of engineering from NAIST and a Bachelor of engineering from Institut National d'Informatique. He is a student member of Robotics society of Japan, IEEE Computer society and ACM.
