IDF distinctions awarded to members

  • IDF Local Group Member
    IDF Local Group Member: Join an IDF Local Group to be awarded this distinction. Local Groups are great way for networking with designers in your city.
  • IDF Community Influencer
    IDF Community Influencer: Contribute meaningfully to IDF discussions at least 10 times to be awarded this distinction. IDF discussions are members-only forums where designers can debate real-life problems and get answers. Starting a new thread, posting a comment, and replying to a comment will count as meaningful contributions, as long as they contain at least 10 words.
  • Certified Course Completer
    Certified Course Completer: Complete a course (score at least 70% and generate the Course Certificate) to be awarded this distinction.
  • Assiduous Learner Award
    Assiduous Learner Award: Complete at least 5 courses to be awarded this distinction.
  • Top 10% Course Taker
    Top 10% Course Taker: Complete a course with a score of 90% to be awarded this distinction.
  • Best in Class
    Best in Class: Complete a course with a score of 100% to be awarded this distinction.
  • Outstanding Learner Award
    Outstanding Learner Award: Complete at least 15 courses to be awarded this distinction.
  • IDF Distinguished Scholar
    IDF Distinguished Scholar: Attain mastery of UX design by completing at least 30 IDF courses to be awarded this distinction.
  • Social Impact Award
    Social Impact Award: Contribute meaningfully to IDF discussions at least 50 times to be awarded this distinction. IDF discussions are members-only forums where designers can debate real-life problems and get answers. Starting a new thread, posting a comment, and replying to a comment will count as meaningful contributions, as long as they contain at least 10 words.
  • UX Daily Author
    UX Daily Author: Contribute an article to UX Daily to be awarded this distinction. UX Daily is the IDF’s collection of UX-related articles that are free-to-read and published daily.
  • IDF Book Author
    IDF Book Author: Publish an IDF book or book chapter to be awarded this distinction. The IDF has an extensive and ever-growing library of high-quality, free-to-read UX literature.
  • IDF Local Leader
    IDF Local Leader: Be one of the leaders in an IDF Local Group to be awarded this distinction. Local Leaders are the lifeblood of Local Groups and help organize meet-ups for designers to meet one another in their cities.
  • IDF Meet-up Organizer
    IDF Meet-up Organizer: Organize a meet-up for any IDF Local Group to be awarded this distinction. Local Group meet-ups are great opportunities for designers to meet and network, and are free for members and non-members to attend.
  • IDF Country Manager
    IDF Country Manager: Take up the position of Country Manager to be awarded this distinction. Country Managers liaise with Local Leaders within their country to grow the IDF Local Groups initiative.
  • IDF Continent Manager
    IDF Continent Manager: Take up the position of Continent Manager to be awarded this distinction. Continent Managers liaise with Country Managers within their continent to grow the IDF Local Groups initiative.
  • IDF Design League Coach
    IDF Design League Coach: Join the IDF Design League Coach program to be awarded this distinction. Coaches provide personal guidance to Design League members.
  • IDF Honorary Distinction
    IDF Honorary Distinction: This prestigious distinction is awarded to members who have contributed to the IDF community of UX designers in outstanding ways.
