Hi UX designers in Hong Kong!
UXD Hong Kong Meetups will be having a meetup to discuss Knowledge Systems, featuring panelists from SCMP and CBRE.
Data is useless unless it structured enough to become information. We spent decades building information systems. What makes them valuable is patterns that constitute transferable knowledge.
How might we grow knowledge? Join us for the conversation about data-driven design, human factors, and the ultimate goal of the knowledge economy. Data may be the oil, but what is valuable is gasoline and plastic. And when there is too much of both we have another problem. I guess this metaphor does work, after all.
Can we get to the wisdom already?
Michele Chan and David Ng, the SCMP Growth team, are joining us for the evening. I will share a bit more about their talks soon.
As usual, it will be a welcoming crowd of professionals on the intersection of Design and Technology. Short talks, long QnA, best networking in the town, afterparty in a quiet (so that you can hear what they are saying!) bar.
