This is an IDF Local Group meet-up
- You do not have to be a member of the IDF to attend
What are Local Groups?
IDF Local Groups will expand your local career network - whether you are interested in learning new skills, looking for new job opportunities, new clients for your company, or a great new dedicated employee.
An IDF Local Group is a group of people who are just as passionate about design as you are. Each Local Group holds physical meetings and the agenda is to get inspired, discuss, have fun, learn and improve your career. Meetings take place in a relaxed and fun atmosphere at a local cafe, an office building, or an auditorium depending on the agenda for the meeting. For each Local Group there is also an online Local Group so you can stay in touch and help update each other on local events.
Hi IDF Chantilly, let's meet online and discuss UX! In our audio/video call, we can get to know each other and share UX problems we’re facing and discuss how we can solve them.
Is anyone working on any interesting independent or work related projects? Are you stuck or do you need feedback, but don't have a BIG BUDGET to get quality feedback and advice? Do you need UI/UX/Development help with something you are working on? Why not create a NOVA design and interaction consortium to do some really cool stuff together?
I am personally trying to get a fishing app and community off the ground (for like ever...) and am seeking trustworthy local development, product, marketing and business partners with an entrepreneurial spirit, a love for the outdoors, and a serious drive to THRIVE! I would love to get any feedback on the concept and what I have thus far at the very least if possible and would love to discuss, review and help out with anything any of you may have in the oven. Pay, partnership, barter, pro-bono... It doesn't really matter... It is my belief that if we can get a quality local 'band of brothers and sisters' together we can achieve greatness!
Perhaps we could just start with and Invision project that everyone could hop on a skype call and comment on during a Freehand Session and then orchestrate a Live Meetup later, but I would love to get something going as our chapter seems pretty non-existent at the moment. I am open to other suggestions as well, but thought I would get the conversation going. Just let me know if any you are interested or want to share any of your work and we can go from there!
Save the date, grab your laptop (or phone!), and let’s see each other online!
