This is an IDF Local Group meet-up

  • Attendance is free
  • You do not have to be a member of the IDF to attend

What are Local Groups?

IDF Local Groups will expand your local career network - whether you are interested in learning new skills, looking for new job opportunities, new clients for your company, or a great new dedicated employee.

An IDF Local Group is a group of people who are just as passionate about design as you are. Each Local Group holds physical meetings and the agenda is to get inspired, discuss, have fun, learn and improve your career. Meetings take place in a relaxed and fun atmosphere at a local cafe, an office building, or an auditorium depending on the agenda for the meeting. For each Local Group there is also an online Local Group so you can stay in touch and help update each other on local events.

Meet-up description

Salut Montreal! Let's meet up and network over coffee!
It would be fun to meet up and discuss this online course (experience, content, etc.), UX/UI and anything related :)

Let's find a time and place!
*** I switched the date to Saturday 19th***
Is everyone good with that?

21 IDF members (and some non-members) are attending:

Meet-up discussion

Hey all! Tentative date --> Oct 20, 2019. Let's discuss the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, etc. :)

I'm in! Let's find a place where there would be enough room for everybody and where we can discuss :D I really like working at the Crew Collective. It's an old bank in Montreal that they renovated into a café. We could reserve a space all together! --> https://crewcollectivecafe.com/en

Me too I'm in. Anne Sophie I love your suggestion !!

Hey, I'm new to IDF & UX design and would love to meet up with all of you! Crew Collective looks awesome :) I'm flexible that day so can work around your schedules!

I will try to join you if I can match the event with something else (it's a 2 hours drive for me) :)

is there a time / day of the week that suits you better?

Sweet! I thought about Crew Café, but it's pricey (~35/hr) and it has to have the flexibility to hold more people.. That's why I went with Anticafé as the first suggestion

As for the date, we can do closer too! Would weekday evenings (afterwork 6pm) suit people more or weekends?

I would look forward to it!

Anticafe sounds like a good spot and weekend is definetly easier/more flexible for me.
